Having grown up in baseball and playing professional baseball for 18yrs. Derrick became a Major League Player for parts of 10 seasons and after became a Major League/Minor League Hitting Coordinator/coach for 13yrs. His knowledge of the game has been molded through experiences and conversation with many great people in the game for over 30 years.
